it all started when…
…a group of friends got together to play bocce in Garfield Park on Capitol Hill. That group built courts, invited friends, and grew into the DC Bocce League! With a focus on building community and giving back to charity, we started to let the good times roll.
DC Bocce is a locally focused organization. Our goal is to have fun and help improve the communities we’re in. Collectively, we have donated over $250,000 to local, national, and international charities since we started rolling in 2004.
Bocce nights are not to be missed! Weekend plans may revolve around your bocce teammates, you may go on vacation together, and at least a few dozen have tied-the-knot! DC Bocce is inclusive and we are happy to welcome you to the #BocceLife.
All of this is made possible by the volunteer efforts of many, many, people. We want to take a moment to thank all of those involved from the past, present, and future in helping build a stronger DC Bocce community.
