End of the Season Party
Ah, the finality to the Bethesda Bocce Summer Season 2010. The Party goes down at 7:30pm at Caddies. You will be provided food, drinks, hugs, high fives, and shoulders to cry on as you muse over the Summer Season. We'll crown the first ever Bethesda Bocce Champions and award the Peroni Ticket Contest and Superlatives Winners.

Superlative Voting for the Bethesda Bocce Summer Season 2010 is open until Tuesday, September 7th. Members from each team can vote online for the teams that best fit in these superlative categories:

• Best Team Name
• Best Team Flair
• Most Social Team
• Team Most Likely to Close Down Caddies

You will not be able to vote for your own team and once you login you will not see your team listed.

Playoffs
Playoff Rounds 1 and 2 will be conducted at 6:30pm and 7:30pm on Thursday, September 2nd. Semifinals and Finals will be held the following Thursday, September 9th, also at 6:30pm and 7:30pm. The Playoff Bracket is posted online. Some people even make out at the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will be held in the courtyard of the Metropolitan Apartments (7620 Old Georgetown Road).

Via Metro: Take the Red Line to the Bethesda Metro Station and then Choose Your Own Adventure; the Stairs or the Elevator.

If you choose the Stairs and potentially the easiest route, walk North along Edgemoor Lane towards Chipotle. Before Chipotle and after the Crossfire Grill, on the left side of Edgemoor are hidden stairs. Take those hidden stairs up to the courtyard.

If you choose the Elevator and potentially Velociraptors, take the Elevator at the corner of the Public Parking garage where Edgemoor Lane elbows. Here is where it gets dicey. You must program the Elevator to take you up one floor higher than you are currently. Head left out of the Elevator to the courtyard.

Things to Know on Game Day
Check out our Rules for more details, and the Schedule will be posted shortly. Standings and Pictures will be updated a few days after your games are done.  Please be sure to observe park rules on game days.

Bar Specials and Sponsors
We are thrilled to announce that Caddies (4922 Cordell Ave) is our postgame destination, and is located just a few short blocks away from the park. During League nights, members enjoy the following specials on our sponsor beers, Peroni and Blue Moon, as well as food specials at the bar. We'll have:

• $3 Peroni/Blue Moon drafts, $10 pitchers

• Appetizer, pizza, and sandwich specials starting at $5.50

During the season we will be raffling off prize packs every week via our Peroni Contest. Make sure to stop by the bar to enter for your chance to win.  In past seasons we've given away free bar tabs, baseball and food vouchers, and concert tickets. See a Black Shirt for more details.

Charity
At the end of each season, all final four teams from each division are awarded a cash prize to donate to a charity of their choice.  We have donated to many local, national and international charities.  We are also happy to participate in special charity events throughout the year.  If you have any ideas feel free to contact us mail@dcbocce.com
