Thanks For A Great Season!

Thanks to all of our particpants and sponsors (Sign of The Whale, Peroni and Blue Moon) for making this season of DC Bocce a success!

Congratulations to Scocce On The Rocks, our division champs!  A $1,000 donation will be made on their behalf to the charity of their choice!

A shout out also goes to our 2nd place team, These Creeps Can Roll, and our runners up, The Bocce Ford Clinic and Le Mani de Fuoco.  Donations will also be made on bealf of each team.

End of Season Party - Wednesday, 09/15

Our end of season bash will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at The Sign of The Whale.  The party begins at 6:30, with free Peroni and food while supplies last!  Afterward, we will get our usual food and drink specials - $5 burgers, $10 pitchers.  The bar will be closed to accomodate our crowd from 6-9 PM, so we will be taking over! 

We will be handing out trophies from the season, as well as awarding superlatives.  We will also anounce the much anticipated winner of the Ocean City weekend trip awarded to the team who imbibed the most Peroni and Blue Moon this season.  See you all at The SoTW!

Things to Know on Game Day
On Thursday make sure to check in with a black shirt by the baseball dugouts. Teams playing at 6:30 will be responsible for setting up the courts, and teams playing at 7:30 will be responsible for putting away the equipment. 

Be sure to hand your score to a black shirt volunteer at the end of your game and make sure you write your team name on the score card (not your t-shirt color)!  Check out our rules for more details.  Standings and Pictures will be updated a each week.

• Walk east on P Street out of the park to 22nd Street.  
• Turn right on 22nd Street and head south past N Street.  
• Turn left on Ward Place right before the Marriot.  Take Ward Place New Hampshire Avenue.
• Walk across New Hampshire Avenue to M Street and head east on M Street to 1825 M Street.

Via Metro: Take the Red Line to the Dupont Circle Metro stop. Walk west on P Street, NW until you see the park on your left. Or take the Orange/Blue Line to the Foggy Bottom Metro stop.
