DC Bocce teaches bocce to Iraqi Exchange Students

Expansion
In 2009, the DC Bocce League expanded to two new locations in NW DC.  Besides playing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Garfield Park on Capitol Hill, the Leauge expanded to Wednesdays in Kalorama Park in Adams Morgan and Thursdays in Rose Park in the West End.  Please visit our Registration page for details, or email us to be added to our mailing list.

Bocce Courts
The Leauge is proud to have completed contruction on two bocce courts in Garfield Park in the Fall of 2005! Nestled near the playground and tennis courts are two open-use courts, the first and only bocce courts in DC (though hopefully not the last). We invite the entire community to enjoy them and become familiar with one of the world’s oldest sports. Thank you to all who helped during construction! A special thanks goes to LandDesign, who volunteered their services and equipment in excavating the courts.
