Congratulations to the Champions!!
The season is over but not after crowning a champion! Congratulations to Ballsmackers for winning the Division Championship! Also, congrats to Chewbocce for finishing as the runners-up! Both finals teams receive money to donate to the charity of their choice!

Bracket Busting Time
Thanks to everyone who braved the elements on Wednesday to play in our elite 8 matchups. The wet ground made for some interesting and fun bocce with 4 teams emerging victorious. Check out our the new bracket to check out the matchups, but the top 4 teams from our division who will be representing AdMo on Saturday are: (1) Chewbocce, (13) Step Off Biocce, (6) Bocce Hero and (15) Ballsmackers.
Party at Yards Park
Here are the updated details for tomorrow’s end of season party and league-wide bocce championships at the Yards Park. ALL games tomorrow will be played in 45 minute increments to 14 (not 16). Here is the schedule for AdMo’s division:
• 1:15 pm: Final 4 games
• 2:00 pm: Championship Games & Lunch (From Potbelly’s)
• 2:45 pm: League-wide 8-team Bracket
• 4:00 pm: Merge with the Great Heartland Cookout
• 7:00 pm: Kristen and the Noise
• 10:00 pm: End of party
Important Party Details
Since we don’t want anyone to get lost, here’s the link for directions from the Navy Yard Metro to the Yards Park. Once you arrive, there will be a sign marking the entrance for all of the DC Bocce members, so make sure to keep an eye out for it. The free beer will be provided from noon to 4:00 pm, but if you want to bring a cooler or two with your own tasty beverages…you are more than welcome to do so. You will be given a wristband to indicate that you are with DC Bocce, but make sure to keep your wristband on at all times. Also, we are allowed to drink at the park, but only in the DC Bocce designated area, so don’t wander off too far from the scene. Potbelly will provide lunch at 2:00 pm and we will also be merging with the Great Heartland Cookout event around 4:00 pm, so there will be plenty of opportunities to eat.

Charity
We do more than imbibe beverage and play bocce. At the end of each season, winning teams from each division are awarded a cash prize to donate to a charity of their choice.
